12 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR WORK FROM HOME SPACE

Here we are. Six months into that WFH life.๐Ÿคจ

I donโ€™t know about you, but Iโ€™m still working from home at this time. ๐Ÿ 

Although I am truly grateful to still be doing so, Iโ€™ve been in a bit of a rut lately. ๐Ÿ™ I miss seeing my co-workers in person and the social interactions that come with that. Sometimes video chat just doesnโ€™t cut it!๐Ÿ˜…

Below are a few ways that YOU can improve your work from home space. ๐Ÿ‘ I have taken a few of my suggestions to heart as well! ๐Ÿ’š

  1. Move around furniture. ๐Ÿ’บ

  2. Purchase some ergonomic gear. ๐Ÿ’ป

  3. Add a plant (or two). ๐ŸŒฟ

  4. Swap work spaces / rooms with someone in the household. ๐Ÿ‘ช

  5. Add a candle to your desk (canโ€™t go wrong with Homesense).๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

  6. Surround yourself with what motivates you (flowers, art work, inspirational quotesโ€ฆ) ๐ŸŒป

  7. Keep your space tidy ๐Ÿงน (clean space, clean mind).

  8. Purchase a diffuser and a few essential oils (this is the one I use: https://www.amazon.ca/.../B07.../ref=redir_mobile_desktop...... don't forget to clean it). ๐Ÿ‘

  9. Put your laptop / other work materials away at the end of a workday. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  10. Open a window and let some fresh air in.

  11. Put a yoga mat beside your workspace so that on your breaks you can do some light stretching. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ

  12. Check-in and make sure youโ€™ve got the proper lighting. To reduce eyestrain, you'll want to set up sufficient lighting in your workspace. Choosing a sunny spot near a window helps. If you need to supplement overhead lighting, consider a floor lamp or table lamp from another room to create a well-lit desk.๐Ÿ”ฆ
