LIFE LESSONS FROM MY FATHER

✨Father's day is coming up so I thought it was a wonderful time to give some recognition to my Father, Ian.✨

Below is a brief summary of some of the lessons I have learned from him over the years:

✅Advocate for yourself (in all ways).
✅Don't be afraid to speak up, even if it's uncomfortable.
✅Remember where you came from.
✅ Learn something new everyday -- this was something you taught me from a young age. I cherish all of the moments I had reading National Geographic magazines, watching documentaries and travelling together. I owe my own commitment to lifelong learning and curiosity to my father.
✅ Financial education and wellness are critical to your overall #health.
✅ How to fall in love with nature. At nine months old, my parents took me on my first trail (Algonquin National Park). I've never looked back. 🌱
✅Think outside the box - great ideas rarely come from inside the club.
✅Have a plan - but know that it's okay when things don't pan out the exact way you want them to. Adjust when necessary.

...and many more!

Dad (or as Austin Powers says, Fahza😂) - I cherish all of the moments I have with you and I am so grateful to have you as my Father.
